TEXAS AND FEDERAL DOLLARS FOR DISASTER RELIEF

Texas can't afford to secede from the Union.
Gov. Good Hair and the rest of the state depend on tax dollars from the rest of us too much.

I just have to point out that our state lab is so swamped with test swabs for the flu. They can't keep up. They have nearly 2500 to test and have only managed to test 181 because they only have one machine. It was in the Austin paper.

So, I suppose it's a good thing that this flu seems mild, or we'd all be dead before they could get the results back XD

So much for Texas having all the resources to be independent.

AWQM - I feel for all of you down there in Texas. You folks have been hit harder than any other state, so far.

It is a good thing this has been mild. We have to remember that the "other flu" has killed over 22,000 so far this year and will probably kill another 20,000 to 30,000 before the end of the year. But that's "old stuff" and the MSM isn't interested in that.

I guess it's a good thing that Texas didn't secede, otherwise you all would be screwed.

That money thingy is soooo inconvenient for scheduling a rebellion.

skyewriter - It does make it rather difficult to secede when they need tax dollars from everyone else to be able to help take care of an emergency.
