DOJ WILL NOT PROSECUTE LAWYERS WHO WROTE TORTURE MEMOS

So, all those who had a hand in approving the torture of prisoners won't be facing charges from the Department of Justice. Now the ball is in the hands of Congress. Let's see if they do the right thing and investigate and charge those who wrote the memos.

So, let me get this right...

I can do whatever I want to do - rob a bank, cheat on my taxes, walk out of a liquor store with a case of booze unpaid for - whatever I want and it'll be OK as long as I write a legal brief that states I consider those actions within my understanding of the law.

Let's see...Bank of America is down the street...

I'd say "go for it" David...but I just don't think the logic the DOJ used here and the excuses Bushite's made will hold water for you in a REAL court of law.
