NOLA AFTERMATH: ONE MAN'S PERSPETIVE

My wife hooked me up to this blog by a guy, Jason Berry, who lives in New Orleans. He went around the city after Katrina and got alot of video.

Very interesting. He's got stuff that never made the networks.

Here's the link to his blog:

Go check it out.

Damn, Grandpa, that blog is incredible. Thank your wife for finding it and thanks to you for posting it.

Karena,

I thought someone would like to see some of the stuff that the MSM wouldn't run.

I'll pass your thanks along to my wife.

Thanks so much for posting about this Grandpa Eddie-- and kudos to your wife for finding it. I am-- now especially-- forever grateful that I got to spend a yr of my life in N.O. after graduating from Kent State University. Thanks again for posting it.

Tina,

You're very welcome.
I've never had the chance to go to N.O., and I'm afraid that if I had a chance to go now it just wouldn't be the same as it once was.

I'll tell my wife you're grateful for the info.

I never got to go to New Orleans either... *sigh*

Econ,

It really sucks, man, 'cause it'll never be the same again.

I know. =(

My only consolation: One of my best friends went there a few months ago, just before he headed to Swaziland (for a 2 year Peace Corp stint)... and he got lotsa pics.

But that's mere consolation.
