Let's see how many of us "ol' folks" there are out there.

These are the writings of a middle-aged guy trying to be as moderate as I possibly can. Here is where I put down in words the stuff that comes pourin' outta my head, and do my bitchin' and complainin' about the government or whatever else pisses me off. Everything and everyone are fair game. These are my ramblings, rantings and ravings with the occasional twist of humor and/or sarcasm. All this while doing my part to fight the Fascists.
You are a Working Class Warrior, also known as a blue-collar Democrat. You believe that the little guy is getting screwed by conservative greed-mongers and corporate criminals, and you’re not going to take it anymore.

I have the DVD and lent it to a young lady from work. She's 22. She wants to keep it! She says she's blown away by the artwork and the music, didn't think we old farts could rock. She had a viewing party with a few of her friends and not one of them had heard of this film, just the song. They watched it a couple of times.
I gave it to her as a gift.
Now she's studying to be a preschool teacher at Eastern WA State.
There's hope for our schools yet!
David - She doesn't know what all she missed by not being one of the "old farts". Maybe this will give her the urge to dig a little deeper into our musical past.
Maybe there IS still hope for the education of future generations with young people like this young lady.
"Willya still need me, willya still feed me..." is no longer a rhetorical question around here. So far, so good...
BTW, I didn't have to watch the vids to hear the songs. My brain played 'em on auto at the mere hint.
I love the Beatles! I'll never forget a moment from college - I saw Paul McCartney walking down the street (in NYC) and I said to the kids I was babysitting, "I think I just saw one of the Beatles." And they looked down at the sidewalk and said, "Where?"
Gordon - We don't ask that here either.
Yeah....I could visualize them, too. I guess there's some things the memory banks never lose.
Riot Kitty - That's funny!
I was talking with my eldest son about music in front of my 11 yr old grandson and I happened to ask my son if he had any Beatles tunes loaded on his 'puter, and the grandson says "Beatles are bugs, grandpa." He knows who they are now...and actually likes them.
