That explains why he nominated Alito who supports strip searchings of ten year old girls when the search warrant was for her momma's boyfriend. Hey, it also goes along with Scooter Libby 's fantasy
novel about bears raping little girls.

A few weeks ago there was an in-depth article on yoo and his view on why the clown in charge has all the power he wants in the new york review of books. very interesting, shocking, disturbing, sobering... call it what you want. in it yoo, more or less, said that declaring war is just a curtesy to the enemy so that s/he knows what is going on when being bombed but not really soemthing the president has to do when attacking another country. falls nicely in line with his view on torture.

Karena,
I have to agree with you. It's better for Bush to have his people on SCOTUS who don't believe anyone but them have rights and liberties.

Silly Adventures,
Thanks for the heads-up on that article...I'm gonna see if I can find that.

I prefer the company of our three cats and the neighbor's two dogs over most of the humans I know....and 99.995% of those in DC.
