HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

If you're traveling today, drive safe.

Think about what you're thankful for, and if you feel like it....let me know what you are thankful for.

Let's all try to remember those who will going without today.

And let's all remember the troops in Iraq and Afganistan.

Enjoy this time with family and friends.

Grandpa Eddie: Happy Thanksgiving! Wanted to tell you I'm thankful for the Internet-it allows us to reach people of like mind and let them know they're not alone, and it gives us an opportunity to wake the rest up; I'm thankful for people like you who are fighting the good fight, regardless of cries of "unpatriotic" coming from Washington; I'm thankful for friends and family, who keep me sane and focused in the face of life's everyday insanity; and I'm thankful Bush can't run a third time. Thanks for taking the time to check us out; we love to hear from those as fed up as we are!

Bush is out jogging one day and sees a boy holding a box. Curious, George trots over and asks "What you got in the box, little boy?"
"Kittens, sir", the boy replies.
"What kinda kittens?"
"Republican kittens, sir"
"Well don't that beat all. You take care son", and Bush runs off.
A couple weeks later Bush is out again, with Cheney trailing along. They see the same little boy, holding the same box. George turns to Dick and says "You gotta see this. It's the cutest darn thing." So they trot over and George says "Hey little boy, what's in the box?"
"I've got kittens, sir."
("Watch this Dick...")
"What kind of kittens are they, son?"
"They're Democrats, sir."
"Democrats? But two weeks ago they were Republicans."
"Yes sir, they were. But now they're eyes are open."

Just a little laugh for your holiday, Grandpa Eddie. Have a great day!

Bear,
Thanks for the wish.

I, too, am thankful for bloggers who have the balls to take a stand against the lies and deceit coming from DC.

I'm also thankful for my fellow bloggers who are so faithful. I feel as if we have created our own little community.

Great joke! Hadn't heard that one yet.

Thanks for stoppin' by, Bear. Stop in anytime...if I'm not at work, I'm usually in front of this window on the world.
