I'm sure this isn't the first time either.
From the BBC:
Privacy slip on official US sites
The White House and NSA sites trip up on official US guidelines that prohibit the tracking of web users.
From the AP via Yahoo News:
U.S. to Probe Contractor's Web Tracking
Go read 'em.

"Unbeknown to the Bush administration, an outside contractor has been using Internet tracking technologies that may be prohibited to analyze usage and traffic patterns at the White House's Web site, an official said Thursday."... yeah... right... and I have a bridge to sell 'em. What complete and utter bullshit.
I have connected to so many Scotty the Lying Dough-Boy Shows at the White House site to show what absolute manure spews from his pudgy lying mouth, so with their illegal persistant cookies, I'm sure they know all about how many times a day the kiddo and I visit Sesame Street.Com and the site for the kids' cable channel Noggin. I'm sure that combined with my blog and my campaign work during the 04 election season has me on a "special watchlist". What a pack of criminal pukes... every last miserable one of 'em.
And on a completely unrelated note... HAPPY 1st WEDDING ANNIVERSARY to you and your honey bunny! May you both have many, many years together.
Tina,
You and me both, kid.
With some of the visits I've gotten from Fed. Gov't. agencies and departments, it wouldn't surprize me one bit if I was on a "watch list."
Thanks from Mama and myself.
I know how plans and things can change....but she ain't goin' anywhere and neither am I. Besides...she's my bestest buddy.
In the weird world of the neocons, there is no evil unless they get caught. As they say, they "make their own reality".
...they "make their own reality".
With any luck...and a lot of hard work...maybe real reality will give them a big slap in the face in '06.
