So very sad. There are several states that suffer from this problem.

Riot Kitty: Yes, sad and very, very true.

Seeing Eye Chick: And there will be more states, because there are so many that buy the same books that Texas uses...and the Texas State School Board is making radical changes and re-writing history to what they want.

No doubt. That is why I homeschool. I don't cotton to teaching my kids that Slavery in the South was some kind of bucolic dream for Africans. I certainly do not care for the Jesus riding a dinasaur bullshit or the people at public schools who bully for Jesus. I know a lot of Homeschoolers are uberconservatives, but a lot of are something else entirely. I know I am paying for the school twice, one for taxes and one to DYI it, but you know I would rather do that than sacrifice my child's development in substandard schools, especially schools full of religious propaganda and political infighting and shrinkng budgets.

According to the Texas Board of Education, when Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden, they moved to Bedrock.

Wonder if they met Fred and Wilma?
