TERRORIST ATTACK AT THE HOLOCAUST MUSEUM

This is a terrorist attack, but the assassination of Dr. George Tiller isn't?!?! WHAT THE FUCK!?!?

Gunman, guard shot at Holocaust museum

NBC News: Suspect has ties to hate, anti-government groups

WASHINGTON - An elderly gunman exchanged fire with security guards inside the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum on Wednesday. One security guard and the gunman were taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Law enforcement officials identified the suspect as James Wenneker von Brunn, 88, from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, NBC News reported. NBC said he may have had connections to hate groups or anti-government groups.

D.C. police spokeswoman Traci Hughes said the suspect walked into the museum at about 12:50 p.m. ET with a rifle and shot a guard. U.S. Park Police Sgt. David Schlosser says one or more guards at the museum returned fire, hitting the suspect.

D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier said the suspect immediately began shooting his rifle as he entered the museum. The FBI said it had no earlier reports of threats against the museum.

Gunman in critical condition

Authorities said the gunman was in critical condition and the security guard was in grave condition. Both were taken to George Washington University Hospital.

A third person reportedly was hurt after being cut by broken glass.

Von Brunn is believed to have had contact with law enforcement in the past, according to NBC. A D.C. Superior Court jury convicted a man by the same name in 1983 of attempting to kidnap members of the Federal Reserve Board.

The case involved a 1981 incident in which police arrested Von Brunn at the board's headquarters carrying several weapons. He was convicted and later released from federal prison in 1989, records show.

At a Wednesday afternoon press conference, officials declined to publicly confirm Von Brunn is their suspect.

According to Joseph Persichini, assistant director in charge of the Washington FBI field office, authorities have dispatched people to a suspect's home to check his computer. He said they are investigating this as a possible hate crime or domestic terrorism.

A racist, anti-Semitic Web site called http://www.holywesternempire.org and a book called "Kill the Best Gentile" were attributed to von Brunn.

PRO-LIFE?....NO! EXTREMIST DOMESTIC TERRORISM?....DEFINITELY!!

Scott Roeder, the right-wing extremist terrorist who assassinated Dr. George Tiller, told the Associated Press in a telephone interview that "similar violence was planned elsewhere for "as long as abortion remains legal.""

Now, to me, this sounds like a threat that there are others that Roeder knows about, or has information of, who are planning more attacks on doctors and other women's health care workers as well as clinics which provide abortion and reproductive health services. This is a threat that the FBI, Homeland Security, and the Federal Marshals should not take lightly.

I wonder if Dick "The Evil One" Cheney would want Mr. Roeder waterboarded to get the information needed to protect the Americans who are, and have been, threatened by him and the other extremists associated with groups like Randall Terry's Operation Rescue.

Operation Rescue, and other "pro-life" groups have denied having any contact with these people who they call "loose canons." Even after it was discovered that Mr. Roeder had contact with a high ranking member of Operation Rescue, they still deny that there is anyone from their group working with these domestic terrorists by feeding them information about the doctors and the clinics.

Frank Schaeffer was interviewed by Rachel Maddow last night about how the "pro-life" movement was, and is still, involved with the radical fringe who are the extremists committing the acts of terrorism against people like Dr. Tiller and other women's health care providers.

The Federal Government has to realize and accept that the heinous act of violence committed against Dr. George Tiller was an act of terrorism. All the attacks against women's health care providers, reproductive clinics, the employees, the doctors, and the women and their friends who use the services at these clinics are nothing more than organized terrorism. THE FBI DROPPED THE BALL

Under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (F.A.C.E.), the FBI could have, and should have, arrested Scott Roeder the day before he committed the heinous act of terrorism which ended the life of Dr. George Tiller.

Roeder was also in close contact with a representative of Operation Rescue, Randall Terry's band of Christo-fascist terrorists.

RED FLAGS WERE IGNORED PRIOR TO THE ASSASSINATION OF DOCTOR GEORGE TILLER

Both the Feds and the State of Kansas fucked up on this one.

The terror attack which took the life of Doctor George Tiller, a health care provider, could have and should have been prevented.




And then there are those who continue to encourage those who would commit terrorist acts such as this....as well as encourage those who would assassinate the President.

CRITICIZE LIMBAUGH, LOSE YOUR JOB.....WTF?!?!

This happened in my state!

Kevin Stevenson, spokesman for the Marathon County Republican Party, lost his job after criticizing The Massive Anal Cyst known as Rush Limbaugh in an editorial in the Wausau Daily Herald. I guess this is more proof that, 1) you can't be a Republican and criticize the Rushole, 2) you can't stray from the party line, and 3) don't even attempt to have any new ideas.
